MVDRT – 26 January, 2013

Austin ain’t got no f***ing microphone, our government used to poison our alcohol, and idiocy abounds in DC.  Anonymous vows to avenge the death of Aaron Swartz, a group of wealthy elitists in Switzerland has decided the economy is fine so the peasants should stop being concerned, and it’s now illegal to unlock your own smartphone.  Blackberry is toast, the French are finished with the term “hash tag,” Cisco sells the tarnished Linksys brand to Belkin, and a whole lot more.

  1. Michael!
Are you back?? WOW! What do I search for on my Reciva, where I originally found you?

I am going to go search for you right now. Hello Evelyn! I truly hope you are back.

  2. ’tis true. we are back. you won’t find us on reciva, though, because we are only streaming through ustream, and only when the show is live. glad you made it back.

  3. Any chance you’ll widen the horizon again? Obviously, you must have thought the type of “radio” I found you on was productive, yes? Or was it a lark? Do not laugh at me, Michael, you have a great, bold and intelligent voice. I was a radiophile the very first day Rush came on the air in my town. My first impression was, “this guy is going everywhere”.

So are you. Never give up! Never forget how learned you are concerning politics. Never forget your quick come back. You are a natural born talent with a good voice as well.

My father was an advertiser, a marketer, and I listened and learned from him, but I went into a different business, and was sucessful. I know a winner. If there is any way I can help you, I would, if I can. If nothing else, I’ll root for you.

Don’t ever give up, Michael, because one day you will be great, I know it.

  4. thanks for the kind words, natalie. much appreciated. it looks like we probably will go back to a standard shoutcast stream in the near future, which means we will be available on reciva. i’m not pleased with ustream as our current streaming solution because it plays ads during the show (which reeeeally sucks).

  5. I didn’t know you were back either, until I stumbled across a link at Coastgab. Loving your return, so far, and keep up those eclectic topics.
